Love You Long Time tells the story of Ikay, a long-time girlfriend who rejects Eulogio Leonida's proposal of marriage. On her way to Baguio, she meets Uli, an old push-to-talk phone friend, and the two explore their friendship turning into love. Despite their varying timelines, it is revealed that what seems to be a brand new love is something they have experienced before but have forgotten. The story is based on Ikay's own love story and what she hoped it could have been.
